In October 2025, Baku hosted the grand opening of the first SUNMI Home demonstration center in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. The center was launched by SUNMI, BS/2, and ASHBURN International. During the event, ASHBURN International’s Head of Sales Division, Sigitas Šniukas, presented the company’s software solutions and demonstrated the capabilities of the TransLink.iQ and SmartPOS platforms. Participants learned how the integration of ASHBURN International’s software products with SUNMI equipment helps banks, acquirers, and retail chains optimize the management of payment infrastructure, ensuring transparency, flexibility, and high-quality customer service.
The establishment of the center became an important step in expanding the partnership between ASHBURN International and SUNMI, confirming the strategic intention of both parties to jointly develop innovative technologies and payment services in international markets.
Demonstration of ASHBURN International Solutions and the TransLink.iQ Platform
During the opening ceremony, participants were introduced to the capabilities of the TransLink.iQ platform, which enables centralized management of acquiring networks, device monitoring, remote software updates, and real-time analytics. Attendees saw how ASHBURN International’s software integrates with SUNMI equipment, turning it into a full-fledged “3-in-1” solution that combines cash register, payment, and fiscal applications in a single device. This provides businesses with flexibility, simplified maintenance, and a high level of reliability.
“TransLink.iQ is a platform that helps banks, processing centers, and acquirers build fully managed device networks. Our goal is to ensure that every point of sale can operate quickly, securely, and conveniently — both for the customer and for the business itself. Integration with SUNMI hardware makes this process as simple and technologically advanced as possible,” said Sigitas Šniukas, Head of Sales Division at ASHBURN International.
Innovative SUNMI Products: A New Generation of Devices for Retail Business
The SUNMI Home Baku demonstration center has become a space where technology gains practical meaning. Here, guests could see how innovative SUNMI hardware and ASHBURN International’s software solutions form a unified technological ecosystem designed to enhance business efficiency and improve customer service quality. Among the models showcased in the showroom were SUNMI P2, SUNMI P2 Lite SE, and SUNMI P3 — each demonstrating how modern hardware reveals its full potential when combined with intelligent TransLink.iQ and SmartPOS products.
One of the central exhibits was the SUNMI P2 — a device that largely defines the standards of modern EFTPOS. Its ergonomic design, built-in thermal printer, and support for all modern payment methods make it a universal solution for small and medium-sized businesses. Integrated with the TransLink.iQ platform, the terminal gains advanced capabilities such as centralized management, remote updates, and access to analytical data, ensuring transaction transparency and reducing operational costs. The lightweight and elegant SUNMI P2 Lite SE attracted particular interest due to its mobility and reliability. Despite its compact size, the device retains the functionality of the senior model and integrates seamlessly with the SmartPOS application, transforming into a mobile cash register with online fiscalization capabilities. This terminal clearly demonstrates how ASHBURN International’s modern solutions enable even small enterprises to adopt advanced technologies and optimize their operations.
The SUNMI P3 also made a strong impression, embodying the concept of a next-generation universal payment device. Its large HD+ display, high-performance hardware, and support for additional modules make it a powerful platform for retail, restaurants, and the HoReCa sector. Paired with TransLink.iQ and SmartPOS, this terminal becomes a comprehensive center for managing retail operations, where every stage — from payment acceptance to analytics — is automated and integrated into a unified business system.
The combined use of SUNMI equipment and ASHBURN International solutions increases reliability, flexibility, and operational efficiency.
Prospects for Partnership Development and Regional Expansion
The opening of SUNMI Home Baku is a project implemented by BS/2 Azerbaijan in cooperation with ASHBURN International. The launch of this demonstration space is another step in strengthening the cooperation between the Penki Kontinentai Group and SUNMI. The parties entered into a strategic partnership in May 2024.

Ilgar Hasanov, CEO of BS/2 Azerbaijan:
“The opening of SUNMI Home Baku is a significant milestone for the entire region. It reflects our shared mission with SUNMI — to implement advanced digital solutions that help businesses grow through innovation, efficiency, and enhanced customer experience. We see this space not just as a showroom but as a bridge between technology and the people who use it. We want all our partners — banks, software developers, fiscal operators, and others — to perceive SUNMI Home as a communication hub where they can meet, share ideas, exchange technologies, and strengthen cooperation.”
The TransLink.iQ and SmartPOS solutions demonstrated on the devices at SUNMI Home are now available to the center’s customers as part of an expanded product portfolio aimed at enhancing payment infrastructure efficiency and optimizing business processes. Participation in the project strengthened ASHBURN International’s position as a reliable technology partner and reaffirmed its role in developing payment solutions that integrate modern devices and software into a unified digital environment.
