2025-12-12

On 19–20 November 2025, the 9th International Banking Forum IBF 2025 took place in Baku.
The event was organized with the support of Mastercard, with BS/2 acting as the Premium Sponsor. This year, the forum brought together over 1,500 participants, 270 companies, and more than 50 speakers representing the banking sector, government institutions, fintech companies, and international organizations. Speakers included executives from leading banks and technology companies, as well as representatives of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Banks Association.

At the exhibition area, ASHBURN International showcased solutions focused on the modernization of payment and terminal infrastructure within the financial sector. Special attention was given to how the combination of SUNMI smart devices and ASHBURN International software platforms enables the creation of a unified technological ecosystem that integrates payment acceptance, service operations, and centralized management of terminal networks.

Forum visitors were introduced to an expanded SUNMI device portfolio, including SUNMI P2, SUNMI P2 SE, SUNMI P3, SUNMI P3 MIX, SUNMI P2 Smartpad, and SUNMI P2 Lite SE. Participants were able to see how modern smart terminals ensure stable performance, fast transaction processing, and improved staff efficiency through well-designed ergonomics and a unified approach to service scenarios.

A separate focus was placed on TransLink.iQ, a software solution that provides centralized management of acquiring networks, remote software updates, device monitoring, and real-time analytics. When combined with SUNMI hardware, the platform transforms each device into a multifunctional tool in which hardware and software operate as a single integrated system. This approach helps banks reduce infrastructure complexity, accelerate the implementation of changes, improve operational control, and ensure a high level of service reliability.

Sigitas Šniukas, Head of Sales Department at ASHBURN International, commented:

“For the market today, it is not the number of new devices that matters most, but an understanding of how technology transforms daily operations at service points. At IBF 2025, we demonstrated how the SUNMI and TransLink.iQ combination works in real-life scenarios, where speed of transactions, employee convenience, and transparency of terminal network management come to the forefront. Our partnership with SUNMI is aimed at providing banks and other market participants not with a fragmented set of solutions, but with a unified platform that enables the development of digital services and supports confident planning for further transformation.”

Participation in IBF 2025 provided ASHBURN International with an opportunity to demonstrate a practical approach to the development of digital services. The combination of smart hardware and a centrally managed software platform helps banks build flexible and resilient payment solutions that simplify infrastructure and enhance the overall customer experience.
