The Baltic Payment Forum, organized by Business Format, aimed to facilitate knowledge-sharing about payment solutions and open banking technologies. Over 260 participants from 20 countries attended the major banking event in Vilnius on April 25th.
Moreover, the event raised the issue of supporting the Ukrainian financial market among the international banking community. The Penki Kontinentai group of companies, which includes ASHBURN International and BS/2, values business relations with partners from Ukraine and strives to support the people and businesses of this country.
As part of the event, ASHBURN International showcased TransLink.iQ, and My Tips software. The company’s representatives demonstrated how users could pay for services and leave electronic tips through the My Tips application. A coffee sale was organized at the stand with the VERO CAFE chain to demonstrate the ability to tip the barista through the POS terminal without additional equipment.
Forum speakers included representatives of Ukrainian and Polish state banks, and heads of Lithuanian, Latvian, Hungary, and British financial institutions. Tomas Augucevičius, Deputy General Director of BS/2 greeted the forum participants with a welcoming speech, and ASHBURN International Executive Director Žoržas Šarafanovičius spoke in detail about TransLink.iQ. The software improves acquiring equipment functionality and resource utilization efficiency by centrally managing all POS terminals from a single interface.
Attendees of the Forum appreciated the opportunity to focus on the most relevant industry issues and underlined that events such as these contribute to the global development of the payment sector.
